This piece is deeply inspired by my home in North Georgia, where the natural world is ever-present. The layers of fabric, paper, and acrylic paint mirror the textures and tones of the landscape around me—its roots, its earthy elements, and the quiet presence of the wildlife. Roots and Fowl speaks to the connection between place and the natural world, capturing a sense of grounding and continuity.
