Peacock Manor draws from both the subject matter of my honeymoon to Kenya, where I experienced the vast beauty of a safari, and the textiles I love. I incorporated pieces of old paintings into the composition, cutting them up to create a collage that reflects my evolving exploration of color, texture, and narrative.
